I live in New York City and am 100% positive that I am going to buy a pair of Full Tilt Konflicts. I am coming off a pair of Atomic Race 9.5 in a size 28.5. They had a good run.
I want to try on a pair before I commit, any advice? I haven't been able to find a retailer anywhere around here.

I live in Astoria and have the same problem. I went to my local shop, Emilios Ski Shop on Queens boulevard. I asked if they could call full tilt through their K2 rep, they tried but they can't really order much till all the new boots drop in august. Go there and talk to them, see what you can do.
I talked with the guys at the Hunter Mtn ski shop, as listed under the "dealers" section. This is the closest seller to NYC that I've found. They say they will be stocking a lot of FT's starting mid-September, and also have some deadstock from last year. The # is (518)263-4223, they said to call for availability of your size if you're going to make the trek from NYC or any other place of distance for that matter. They will do the heat-molding on site.
Now where's my commission?!?!?!
You can also order boots and try them on at your home if it is hard for you to get to a FT dealer that does not carry all the models and sizes. At www.untracked.com you can order the boot with a $10 FedEx return label and if the boot does not fit you can just put the label back on the box, tape it up and ship it back for a refund. You can also buy 2 pairs of boots if you are torn between size and just return the one that does not fit for a refund.
