Full Tilt / Raichle Experience?

Greetings from Denver.
I am an avid skier, certainly not a pro, but off-piste and some 15-foot cliff-drops in powder are certainly in the cards for this (hopefully Epic) season in Colorado.
I've been very interested in Full Tilt boots for a few months - researching, comparing price, watching the videos, etc. etc. I have qualms with the current boot I own - the buckles frequently "pop" out and adjusting the buckles will certainly warp the plastic of the boot contour. Grant it, the boots are older and "packed-out." Perhaps the full tilt boot line is right for me.
I keep reading that these boots are narrow... Unfortunately, I have yet to try on a pair (hard to find locally). Can anyone counter this point?
Has anyone replaced a tongue of a Full-Tilt / Raichle boot and a liner in the life of their current pair? Does it make a difference (in reducing that "packed-out" feeling)?
I would love to ski this boot for a weekend and endorse it, but I need some more information. Yes, I need to go try them on first-hand (Al's advertises a $10 shipping fee for 2 sizes, but I don't want to pay a dime for something I might not keep). What do you all think?
Appreciate any feedback.
